If you’ve been shopping at the Family Dollar store recently, check your shelves because they are recalling hundreds of popular items, including Crest and Colgate toothpaste, Purell hand sanitizer, Dove deodorant, Listerine, and SoftSoap. The variety store has issued a voluntary recall of some very popular products because the items were “stored outside of labeled temperature requirements,” the U.S. Food and Drug Administration stated. Those products were then " inadvertently shipped" to some stores from around May 1 through June 10, meaning customers could have picked them up anytime in June until July when the recall was issued....

It looks like we’re one step closer to the return of Sweet Magnolias! This week, the Netflix show revealed via its official Instagram account that filming has begun on the show’s third season. The first two seasons were primarily shot in Covington, Georgia, located less than an hour east of Atlanta, and all signs point to that being the case for season three as well. “‘Shall we begin?’” the message alongside a photo of the back of a canvas director’s chair teases....

There’s a new food making waves on the internet and it’s an eye-catching cheesy pasta perfect for Sunday dinner. TikTok user Anna Rothfuss (@bananalovesyoutoo), posted a video of what has now been dubbed “honeycomb pasta” for its similarity to the hexagonal cells bees create in their nests. To make the unique pasta dish, Rothfuss cooks rigatoni and, instead of just dumping it into a casserole dish, nestles each tube of pasta side by side in a springform pan with one end of the tube facing upward....

Though she’s a skilled cook, my mom’s baking efforts typically begin with a box. Peter Mutabazi didn’t have a good childhood. He grew up in Uganda, “the poorest of the poorest.” He ran away from home at the age of 10 and became a street kid.
