The doughnut giant is celebrating the final “supermoon” of 2021 with its all-new Strawberry Supermoon Doughnut, available only on Thursday, June 24, at participating shops across the U.S. The Strawberry Supermoon Doughnut, made to look like an edible “supermoon,” is filled with Strawberry Kreme, dipped in Strawberries and Kreme icing, and topped with graham cracker “moon dust.” “What better way to celebrate the strawberry supermoon than by enjoying it with a new Krispy Kreme doughnut that looks like, well, a strawberry supermoon?...

The United States Mint has begun shipping quarters honoring writer, poet, performer, social activist, and teacher Maya Angelou. Angelou, the first of five trailblazing women included in the Mint’s American Women Quarters Program, is also the first Black woman to appear on a U.S. quarter. “It is my honor to present our Nation’s first circulating coins dedicated to celebrating American women and their contributions to American history,” Mint Deputy Director Ventris C....

As the search for survivors continues in the aftermath of the historic weather system that devastated parts of the South and Midwest Friday night, the Kentucky town hardest hit by the rash of tornadoes has found a source of hope. “There’s always hope. We appreciate that roasting is a delicious way to prepare all sorts of vegetables year-round.
